Hungarian Beef and Rice
2 bags Success brown rice 1 ½ lbs. lean round steak 1/3 cup onion, chopped 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 ½ cups water 2/3 cup Heinz Carb One ketchup (reduced sugar) 1 Tablespoon brown sugar 3 ½ Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce 2 teaspoons paprika 2 teaspoons mustard ½ teaspoon salt Spray large pan with non-fat cooking spray. Cut steak into thin 2” strips. Brown quickly. Add onion and garlic and sauté for 2 – 3 minutes. . Pour off any excess fat Stir in water, ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, mustard, and salt. Cover and simmer 30 minutes. Prepare the rice according to package directions. (If the sauce seems too thin combine 1 Tablespoon cornstarch and ¼ cup water. Stir into the meat mixture. Heat and stir until thickened.) Serve over rice. Nutrition Info Per Serving (6 servings):
