Chicken Burger 1 ¼ lbs. ground turkey (99%
fat-free) ¾ cup dried whole wheat bread crumbs 3 Tablespoon plain fat-free yogurt 1 Tablespoon fresh parsley, minced 1 teaspoon fresh basil, minced 1 teaspoon fresh oregano, minced 1 clove fresh garlic, minced ¼ teaspoon salt ¼ teaspoon pepper ¼ cup Egg Beaters (egg substitute) In large bowl, combine all ingredients and shape into 6 patties. Heat 1 Tablespoon Canola oil in a large skillet, add patties and cook until golden brown and cooked through. Serve on toasted whole wheat buns. ****Variation**** Omit the parsley, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Instead add 1 Tablespoon “Kelly’s Yummy Rib Rub” and 1 Tablespoon hot sauce (Frank's Buffalo Sauce is a great choice). When patties are done spread each side with a thin layer of hot sauce. Serve with fat-free blue cheese dressing on whole wheat buns. Nutrition Info Per Burger (does not include bun or dressing):
